Syracuse, Northwestern Take National Lacrosse Titles

Syracuse beat Johns Hopkins 13 - 10 on Monday for its 10th national men's lacrosse title. The game was played in front of 48,000+ fans at Gillette Stadium, home to the NFL's New England Patriots.

Earlier Memorial Day weekend, the Northwestern Wildcats won a fourth straight women's title by beating Pennsylvania 10 - 6.

Lacrosse final four Memorial Day weekend

The NCAA men's lacrosse final four is set for Memorial Day weekend at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts. All three divisions will play; the Division I final four includes Syracuse, Virginia, Duke and Johns Hopkins.

Zenit St. Petersburg wins UEFA Cup

Zenit St. Petersburg beat Glascow Ranger 2 - 0 Wednesday to win the UEFA Cup. Zenit becomes the second Russian team to win Europe's number two club tournament in four years.
