Other World Championships This Year

Fistball, an outdoor sport similar to volleyball played in Germanic countries, and American Football, our most popular spectator sport, both have world championships this year.

The Fistball World Championship will be August 6 -12, 2007 in Germany. The USA will compete for the first time.

The IFAF World Championships will be held in Japan. The USA will compete for the first time as well. Japan won the first 2 Championships held. The American team will consist of college players and be coached by John Mackovic.
